About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of our LIDAR systems and embedded technologies. You'll design automated tests, manage CI pipelines, validate opto-electronic hardware, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to support the development of autonomous vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain Python test cases.
- Design and develop test stands for validating and testing electronic hardware.
- Set up and manage Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for embedded software projects.
- Automate the testing and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CI systems to ensure consistent operation.
- Research and develop optical and opto-electronic components for LIDAR systems.
- Organize and conduct experimental work to test and validate LIDAR systems.
- Identify and resolve issues related to device malfunction and performance.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development of autonomous vehicle units.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
What You'll Need
- Master’s degree in Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the IT industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in opto-electronic systems, preferably in LIDAR technology.
- Proficiency in Python programming.Proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Strong knowledge of optical principles and opto-electronic components.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing and measurement equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, electronic loads, and power supplies.
- Proficiency in working with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and Modbus protocols.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Actions for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). Proficient in using Git for version control.
